Lemon Laws are laws that provide support for car buyers for those cars that repeatedly fail to meet industry quality standards. Lemon laws are limited to new cars in most states. An ‘as is’ purchase is when the consumer knows the condition of the car before purchasing it and still purchases it. Most Lemon laws still protect the buyer’s rights applicable under its laws. Lemon laws protect customers in regards to RVs, boats, motorcycles and computers too. Experts believe that a buyer who knows the condition of a vehicle covered under lemon laws should be held liable for it.
